Coupa is the financial platform for Redfin and employees needed to be instructed on how to use the tool. The Accounting team requested that everyone that submits expenses for reimbursement learn how to use the application.

I designed an online learning experience for students to learn the Coupa platform. For the course, I recorded many tutorial videos to provide a hands-on experience for learners to learn each step in submitting an expense report within the application. I included instructional videos for desktop and mobile devices to ensure that learners had a wholistic view of the platform’s functionality. As a part of the training, I included company reimbursement policies so that learners better understood the parameters of what could be expensed. I designed all aspects of the learnings videos, including screen recordings, voice over optimization, and motion graphics—I also handled the graphics for the course and the overall course design.

The learners really enjoyed the course and reported that after taking the training, their understanding of the policies and processes on submitting expenses through the application increased. Their feedback included that the course was easy to understand and follow and did not seem as a burden to take part in.
