About
I absolutely love learning design! In conversations with my friends and colleagues, I often share that the adult learning profession is not a job, it’s my passion! On the weekends, you will find me reading books on adult learning or improving my craft. While on the job, there is nothing more satisfying than sitting down with individuals and figuring out strategies around implementing innovative learning solutions for their customers. I love the process as much as I enjoy seeing the program or materials in action.
As an adult learning professional with solid learning principles and methodologies, I am focused on global training, content, and talent development programs. My expertise includes identifying environment-specific learning strategies and executing cross-company training and content programs. My ability to lead learning initiatives with successful judgment and organizational acumen to achieve efficiency, effectiveness, and drive impact is exceptional.
Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Evaluation
To ensure the success of learning programs, I rely on Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Evaluation: Reaction, Learning, Behavior, and Results. This model helps me assess not just learner satisfaction, but also how well new skills and knowledge are applied in real-life scenarios, ultimately impacting the organization positively.
Mind Mapping
I embrace mind mapping as a creative tool to organize ideas, structure content, and visually connect concepts. It allows me to plan learning journeys effectively, making sure that the courses I design are clear, cohesive, and engaging for learners.
Bloom's Taxonomy
Bloom’s Taxonomy is central to how I approach learning objectives. I design training that touches all levels—Remembering, Understanding, Applying, Analyzing, Evaluating, and Creating. This method ensures that my programs are comprehensive, challenging, and tailored to promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
Blended Learning
I’m a strong advocate for blended learning, which merges traditional in-person learning with digital tools. This hybrid approach allows for flexibility and engagement, ensuring learners can absorb knowledge in a way that suits their schedules and preferences. Blended learning also enhances accessibility, making training available to a global audience.
Active Learning Modules
Active learning is a core element of my design philosophy. By incorporating interactive activities such as group discussions, problem-solving exercises, and real-world applications, I help learners engage with content on a deeper level. This method promotes collaboration and ensures the learning is both meaningful and practical.
By blending these instructional design philosophies with my passion for adult learning, I create learning environments that inspire growth, drive results, and leave a lasting impact.
