RedfinNow new hires were struggling to grasp the processes associated with iBuyer transactions. Employees were getting confused about the different handoffs, which were causing unnecessary delays impacting real estate deals.

The RedfinNow program management team requested I create a dynamic eLearning course that could scale across new hires and also the Redfin Home Services organization. The training needed to include the entire RedfinNow process for new hires to review at later times throughout their onboarding period.

I met with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to better understand the problem and the goals associated with the request. After meeting with the team members, I conducted an analysis of the content and designed a course outline to share with the larger group. Once I completed the review process, I created the learning assets for the course. I designed and developed all the PowToon and Adobe Premiere videos, wrote the scripts, sourced and created the graphics, wrote the course copy, and built the eLearning in Articulate Rise.

The course received significant results! New hires offered feedback that the videos on the processes were clear and engaging. Following controlled focus groups, managers reported employees were making fewer errors than previous new hires, which improved overall iBuyer transactions.
