New Hire Orientation Workshop

Customer Service Agents (CSAs) on the Valve engagement did not have a foundational onboarding experience to learn about Blueprint as a company, and how they would interact with the client upon hire. As a result, employees on the Valve engagement became confused on if they were actual Valve employees or Blueprint staff.
I decided that a new hire orientation workshop would reduce the confusion that employees were experiencing on the job. I also believed that by introducing a structured onboarding workshop would increase adoption around Blueprint as a company and bring ownership to the Customer Service Agents while on the job.
Through extensive research, I designed a fully interactive workshop that included gamified activities, exercises, and discussions to facilitate learner growth. My designs included PowerPoint slides with custom illustrations, writing the facilitator guide, formatting the learning activity documents, and creating the workshop handouts.
The learners absolutely loved the workshop. Through observations, they laughed, they engaged, asked insightful questions, and showed new skills because of the workshop.
